Dutch Franchise Friendly Concepts’ Délifrance Benelux acquisition is in full swing. The franchise organization will obtain the French sandwich chain’s Benelux master franchisee on 1 April.
Services to franchises
FFC’s board approved the acquisition and that is why the deal is being prepared right now. The company knows Délifrance well: it used to manage thirty Délifrance shop-in-shops at Kwalitaria. Nevertheless, it will require a lot of preparation to get to know the franchises and to assist them from the Dutch main office in Vianen, a press release said.
“We have had multiple discussions with the franchise board and we have visited a great number of entrepreneurs”, CEO Bas Holshuijsen said. “Entrepreneurs see the added value of our services, but it is up to us to meet the expectations.”
Délifrance, founded in 1978, is proud of its artisan, typically French bakery products which it sells in its own stores, at retailers, gas stations and franchise stores. The bakery company is active in more than fifty countries across five continents. Grands Moulins de Paris, an important French flour company, owns Délifrance and also provides all the flour the chain needs.
