The recently announced partnership between home delivery service Everli and Carrefour officially launched on Monday in ten French cities, including Paris, the capital.
Personal shopping
Since Monday, the Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets are available on the Everli platform in ten cities: Lille, Lyon, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nantes, Grenoble, Rennes and Paris. The partnership was announced earlier, but it was not yet known that the service would be launched in the capital. Everli will first serve the suburbs of Paris, adding the city centre in the coming weeks.
Thanks to the partnership, customers will have access to as many as 25,000 different products, including many fresh products such as bread, meat products, fish and cheeses. Everli has an extensive network of shoppers who visit stores to pick the ordered products and deliver them to the consumer on the same day. New customers get free delivery and a discount of 40 euros on their first four orders at Carrefour worth at least 60 euros.
“Personal Shopping is a new trend within the booming Home Delivery market. As retailer N°1 in Home Delivery for groceries, Carrefour wanted to embrace this new segment to complement its existing e-commerce services’ portfolio, and meet customers’ expectations”, said Elodie Perthuisot, executive director of e-commerce, data and digital transformation at Carrefour.
