Pop-up store for now
The pop-up store will be there for six months, in a department store in Johannesburg. Afterwards, it will move to a fixed location in an attempt to meet the increasing demand in Africa. “We have seen growth in South African online orders for quite a while now”, Tania Habimana, responsible for Suit Supply’s newly-created Africa branch.
South Africa is Africa’s second largest economy, following Nigeria, and is Suit Supply’s first step onto this continent with planned stores in Kenya and Nigeria, two of the emerging economies in Africa. It is currently looking for local partners to make that happen, but in South Africa, Suit Supply is taking care of everything itself.
The company is now active in more than 10 countries, like Russia, the United States and China.
