Bally wants to aim higher
Bally wants to position itself higher
in the market and is going through restructuring to reach that goal. The company’s
new modus operandi should become visible, starting in 2014.
Previously, De Narp worked for jeweler Harry Winston North-America between
2010 and July 2013. Prior to that, he worked for Cartier for 18 years, starting
in Japan and Europe before becoming its CEO and president for North America.
De Narp will replace Reinhart Mieck, the temporary CEO after previous
CEO Berndt Haptkom left the company at the end of 2011. Mieck is also currently
Labelux’ CEO, Bally’s parent company since 2008. Heading Labelux, he oversees
Jimmy Choo’s, Zagliani’s and Belstaff’s operations.
