Belgian vegetable processor Greenyard Foods announced it has finalized the expansion of its facilities in the Polish town of Lipno. The factory can now process double its previous amount and spreads across a 22,000 sqm plot.

The company can now centralize the majority of its frozen food activities in a single spot thanks to the factory’s expansion. The location in Lipno is supported by locations in Adamow and Dabrowa and a storage and distribution center in Elk.
It also implemented several new technologies when it expanded the factory, which should help lower water and energy consumption.
“We are proud we can announce our major investment into Lipno, our prime Polish manufacturing location, is now over. The increased capacity will allow our business to grow and is an important step towards the centralization of our manufacturing capabilities, which is part of our operational excellence program”, CEO Marleen Vaesen said.
