Milan flagship store reopens
In total, 55 new Guess stores have to open all across Europe this year with 25 franchise stores in Russia and Eastern Europe, while Guess will take control of the remaining 30 (mainly in Poland, Spain, France and Germany).
Guess has recently reopened its Corso Buenos Aires flagship store, an important Milanese shopping street. “This is an important signal of the company’s desire to consolidate the brand in Europe. This is one of our principal stores, a fundamental element in the company and brand’s business policy, an iconic place representing the value and image of Guess“, the company stated on the 2 floor, 400 sqm store’s opening.
The American fashion house had a 1.89 billion euro turnover in 2013, 3 % less than a year before while European turnover dropped 4 % to 657 million euro. Guess currently has 1,708 stores in over 90 countries, 627 of those are in Europe and the Middle East.
