HAK has launched a calculator that allows consumers to work out the savings in both carbon emissions and in money they would make by eating legumes instead of meat. The Dutch food producer is hoping to encourage the consumption of legumes in this way, after a survey it commissioned showed that legumes are still viewed quite poorly by the general public.
