Steve Madden collaboration
Juicy Couture currently has 199 stores in 60 countries worldwide, and several outlets and shop-in-shops in larger department stores, but it aims to add new stores in eight countries, like South Africa and India. Over the course of 2015, it wants to open 31 stores and in total, 133 stores will be added to its retail park although it remains to be seen whether it will open new stores in America.
Authentic Brands Group acquired Juicy Couture in 2013 for 195 million dollars (180 million euro) and immediately closed every American store, except for three in New York. Its own stores have also just started selling shoes, developed in collaboration with the Steve Madden brand.
