Dutch supermarket chain Jumbo has reached an agreement with Danone, Dr Oetker, Jacobs Douwe Egberts and Mondelez, allowing their products to reappear on the shelves. The chain has had ten long-running delisting conflicts.
“With results”
Items from the major brands belonging to the four multinationals will gradually reappear on shelves from now on, the retailer confirms to Distrifood. Earlier this month, a compromise was already reached with Unilever.
The supermarket chain says it has gained concessions during the negotiations. Despite the sometimes months-long absences from shops – Milka and Oreo have been missing since February – the results are “successful”, according to the chain. “The products are mostly noticeably better priced for customers.”
