Today, Lidl launches a digital customer loyalty programme in Belgium and Luxembourg. Customers can now collect points in the Lidl Plus app, and then use them to get free products or discounts.
“More benefits and rewards”
Customers with a Lidl Plus account will receive one point for every euro spent at the discounter. They can then either exchange those points for a discount on their next purchase, or use them to get a free product. For the latter, they can choose from more than 150 rewards, the cheapest of which cost eighty points.
The new points system replaces the scratch cards and savings deals Lidl used before. “With the new points system in the Lidl Plus app, we offer our customers even more benefits and rewards for their loyalty. Our customers can easily collect points with Lidl points and redeem them themselves for a product or discount of their choice”, Lidl Belgium & Luxembourg’s spokeswoman, Isabelle Colbrandt, said.
