Marcel Oosterwijk has been promoted to an international role within the Lidl holding company. Peter de Roos will succeed him as CEO of the discounter’s Dutch branch on 1 July.
New challenge
Oosterwijk is looking forward to that new challenge within the Lidl holding. “After 27 years leading this company, the time has come for me to take up a new challenge. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved together with all my colleagues, partners and suppliers in the Netherlands”, he said in a press release.
On 1 July, he will hand over his responsibilities to Peter de Roos, who has held various national and international positions within Lidl over the past fifteen years. Remarkably, De Roos makes the opposite move – from the international holding to the Dutch branch.
