Responsible for international sales
Lagerweij used to work at Hema as its sales director, but moved to MS Mode in September 2014 to become its international sales director. Merely 4 months later, he has become the company’s CEO, which brand & pr manager Brigitte Stolk confirmed to RetailNews.
Lagerweij will also take responsibility for the international sales of more than 400 stores in France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Spain.
MS Mode is part of the Excellent Retail Brands Group, which also has Coolcat, Sapph and America Today under its wing. Prior to 2010, MS Mode belonged to Maxeda, a group which currently owns a series of DIY chains.
