Nathalie Guillaume (Danone) has been appointed as president of the federation of Belgian food companies. On 2 December, she will succeed Anthony Botelberge (Frigilunch).
Together stronger
Guillaume will be Fevia’s first female president. She has been active in the food industry for almost thirty years, holding various positions within the Belgian Dairy Federation, Fevia and Danone, where she is currently General Secretary & Sustainability Director. “As the new president of Fevia, I want to further commit to closer cooperation within the different links in the food chain. Only in this way can we commit to sustainable value creation, because together we are stronger”, she says.
Her predecessor was president for three years during a turbulent period: “The aftermath of the pandemic crisis, the commodity crisis, the energy crisis, massive cost inflation and geopolitical tensions: the entrepreneurial landscape has had many obstacles in the past three years. I am immensely proud of the resilience our industry has shown as it, despite rising costs and shrinking margins, kept on investing and innovating. It is with great pleasure and confidence that I pass on the torch to Nathalie, who knows our sector inside out.”
