Paul Bulcke retires from Nestlé leadership

After a career spanning almost half a century at Nestlé, Paul Bulcke will step down as chairman of the board of directors in April 2026. The Belgian will be succeeded by Spaniard Pablo Isla, former CEO of Inditex.

“Mister Low Maintenance”

Bulcke, who has been chairman since 2017 and CEO for eight years prior to that, believes the time is right to pass on the baton. This was announced by the Swiss food company on Wednesday. The West Flemish native will have been chairman for exactly nine years at that point.
