Distribution center for Benelux and France
It had been revealed quite some time ago that Roosendaal, near the Belgian border, would come to house a large clothing company, but up until now the company chose to remain anonymous. Sources have now divulged to the Financieele Dagblad that it is in fact Primark.
The new distribution center will evidently service all Dutch stores, but also service all stores in the Benelux and even the north of France. Currently, Primark has 12 stores in the Netherlands, but seeks to grow that number up to 25.
There are 5 Primark stores in France, 3 of those in Paris, while its Belgian branch is still in its infancy, with stores in Liege and Brussels. A Dutch-based distribution center does underline Primark’s ambition in the Benelux area however.
