Former Forever 21 store
The store in Ghent will be located at the crossroads of the Langemunt and Vrijdagsmarkt, in a 4,500 sqm store. The Nieuwstraat in Brussels is the other location, where Primark will occupy a 3,000 sqm former Forever 21 store, which was vacated after a fire destroyed the store.
Primark has been in Belgium’s Liege since 2009 and several rumours earlier this year made it clear the company was looking at several other stores in Belgium. Ghent and Brussels have now been confirmed although there are also unconfirmed rumours about Antwerp, Hasselt and Charleroi.
