International audience
Not only will the collection contain hijabs, but also skirts, pants, blouses, tunics and long dresses – all purposefully kept modest in order to appeal to women who follow the Islam. Customers will be able to purchase items from this collection online or in one particular store, in Singapore.
“We want to create a collection that not only appeals to modern ladies who prefer to dress modestly, but also an international audience who desire clothes that fit comfortably and look contemporary”, Hana Tajima said.
It is not a coincidence the collection will launch now as Muslims are in the middle of their Ramadan. Not only that, but an increasing number of fashion brands have launched a Muslim-focused collection. One such example is Mango, which launched a Ramadan collection last month.
