Other size or colour
According to The Local, Inditex wants the customer to scan its chosen items with the iPad and then the customer can point out whether he wants a smaller or larger size or even a different colour. Store personnel can then bring the required items without ever having to leave the fitting room.
At first, Inditex would trial this in one of its larger Spanish stores, before it would expand the formula to its foreign stores.
At McGregor as well
During Innovation Boulevard, which saw several future-focused formulas trialed at the Meir in Antwerp, McGregor launched a similar project. An interactive mirror was placed in one of the fitting rooms and customers could also request other colours or sizes from the fitting room.
