Order arrives in store within 48h
A video presentation showed that any Zara order can be dealt with, sent and in shops within 48 hours. Every Zara shop places orders twice a week with its Spanish main office, which makes sure that the orders are ready to be shipped within 8 hours. According to spokesperson Jesus Echevarria, it is mostly important to get the right delivery at the right shop.
He added that the company’s 350 designers and its factories can finish a collection within 3 to 4 weeks.

Inditex is currently the world’s largest fashion retailer, but in Asia, Japanese Fast Retailing is still ahead and plans to become the world’s largest by 2020. Inditex still plans Asian expansion, like it demonstrated with its newest 5,000 sqm store in Hong Kong.
Zara will also enter the Chinese market through Tmall, Alibaba’s online marketplace in China, and it marks the first time that Zara is available online at a third party seller. The company will divulge more information about its Chinese online strategy in September.
