Known from its “Marcellekens”
Le Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles was founded in 2007 and only sold a range of the so-called “marcellekes”, a legendary tank top. For its second season collection, it added sweaters, jackets, dresses, t-shirts, shirts and pants.
Combining all these different stages (design, production, sales) proved too much for the founder Kaat Blommaert and that is why she closed the stores a few months ago. She had looked into possible alternatives since then and that has now resulted in a partnership with the ZEB chain.
Growing store network
The new “Marcels” will be available in all of ZEB’s stores and its online shop, starting February. Dresses, pants, coats and accessories will be added later on.
The ZEB collaboration also means Le Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles is now part of a growing chain as ZEB intends to increase its number of stores to 70.
