After only 4 months in charge, Nathal van Rijn will vacate the position of German Beate Uhse CEO. According to the board, there was a mutual understanding that the collaboration would not yield the necessary results and therefore each party will go its own way.
Belgian COO will temporarily take over
Van Rijn had been Rabobank’s chairman of the board until October, but then became the German erotics chain’s new CEO. The board now revealed Van Rijn will leave the company and a spokesperson told Elsevier that both the CEO and board felt the collaboration would not work out.
Belgian COO, Dennis van Allemeersch, will temporarily take over as CEO while Beate Uhse looks for a successor. His or her task will be to turn the tide for the company, following another huge turnover drop in the first half of 2016 and no online improvement.
