MyShopi, an app and website, allows Belgian customers to collect coupons, read folders and create shopping lists on their smartphone and tablet. These lists can even be exchanged from one smartphone to another. The app has already been downloaded 600,000 times.
The website / app was bought in 2014 by the Belgische Distributiedienst, which is the market leader in both Italy and Belgium when it comes to unaddressed advertising. BD wanted to use the app to create an omnichannel strategy.
It is now seeking to commercialize the application and that is why it has now struck a deal with the French postal services, which will us the myShopi technology to launch an app in 4 European countries. First up is its home country, France, with an app called Quoty.
