Bol, the Ahold Delhaize subsidiary better known under its former name bol.com, is cutting three management positions: the Chief Officers for Marketing&Sustainability, Operations and Technology leave the company.
Down to six
The Dutch e-tailer calls the move necessary to remain competitive, agile and successful. Ecommerce Chief Oscar Hundman adds marketing to his portfolio, while CEO Margaret Versteden – van Duijn adds sustainability to her list of responsibilities. Chief Product Officer Maite Zubiaurre gets Technology, while responsibility for new business models goes to Chief Advertising Officer Joris Scheepens.
This means that Boukje Taphoorn and Vincent Weijers are to leave Bol, as CTO Adrian McPhee did already. From July on, the board of directors will consist of the previously named CEO Versteden – van Duijn, Hundman, Scheepens and Zubiaurre, as well as CFO Gert-Jan Janssen and Chief People Officer Ellen Coopmans, who both see their responsibilities unchanged.
