Van Nieuwenhuijzen started his Hema career 5 years ago as the Food&Horeca division manager, and for the past 3,5 years he was the eCommerce manager. “We planned a course for the next three to four years and we have finished that trajectory now. We have laid out plans for the upcoming 5 years and for me, it is now time for a new challenge“, he explained his departure to Twinkle.
As Hema’s eCommerce manager, he was responsible for the transition from the online branch to the physical stores. His goal was to get the chain’s full array of products into every store.
