Oloffson has plenty of retail experience: he has been French supermarket chain Carrefour’s CEO from 2009 to 2012 and previously worked at Nestlé for 32 years as its vice-president, head of the Europe branch and head of ‘strategic business units’.
With Oloffson as the new chairman, TCC founders Richard Beattie, Gordon Cooper and Mike Davis are stepping down from the day-to-day management of their company. They will however still hold a position of commissioner at the company.
