The eleventh edition of the RetailDetail Night, like its recent predecessors, is completely sold out. The end-of-year event of the retail sector in the Benelux achieved this thanks to key-note speakers like Marit van Egmond (Albert Heijn) and Erwin Van Osta (Hubo).
Unique networking event
Once again, the RetailDetail Night will take place in Antwerp’s Handelsbeurs, a prime location in the city centre. The formula with in-depth thematic programmes in the afternoon, followed by a festive dinner with top international speakers in the evening, is here to stay: the very last tickets went out on Wednesday afternoon. Top profiles from all areas of the retail industry will convene for a unique networking event. The formula whereby companies can reserve an entire table to invite customers and relations is also catching on.
A striking trend this year is the strong representation of FMCG profiles and of franchisees from both Albert Heijn and Delhaize, who are no doubt looking forward to Marit van Egmond’s key-note speech with great interest. After all, Ahold Delhaize does bring some momentum to the Belgian supermarket sector. The DIY sector is also strongly represented.
RetailDetail founder Jorg Snoeck is proudly looking forward to the culmination of a year in which his company performed strongly under difficult circumstances. He is introducing some new initiatives on Thursday night, including the RetailDetail Connect&Learn app and the international RetailHunt to Singapore. “2024 could well be a tipping year for the retail sector”, he believes. “But if we work together, we will get through it. RetailDetail is ready for it!”
