The line-up for RetailDetail Night on 25 November is now complete. The retail industry’s end-of-year event will have a packed and very varied programme.
Strong content, strong network
No fewer than 25 speakers will take the stage at RetailDetail Night on Thursday, 25 November. Half of them are retailers, the other half eminent retail and marketing experts – in other words: strong content is guaranteed. The ticket sales are also progressing smoothly, with a solid representation from the retail industry, like always. There is a limited number of spaces, so do not wait too long to get your tickets.
One of the names we recently added to the line-up is Gorillas. The express delivery service, which launched in Antwerp and Brussels in June, is very much the talk of the town after entering into partnerships with big names such as Tesco and Casino. General Manager Benelux Sadik Cevik will elaborate on the plans in Belgium.
On-trend
Also totally on-trend is Casper, the pioneer of the ‘hybrid kitchens’ in Belgium. After a successful start in Ghent in 2020, the company quickly expanded to seven branches. Co-founder Peter Van Praet and CEO Matthias Laga reveal some success factors behind the delivery and takeaway concept.
Food retailer Delhaize will not be talking about food but rather focus on HR: the supermarket chain uses the game-based learning platform Play it to train staff and welcome newcomers on board. Digital Associate & Organisation Development Manager Vincent Goddeeris will tell us more, joined by CEO Brecht Kets from Play it.
Finally, shoe chain Torfs will also take the stage. The chain has made great strides in the field of e-commerce: online now represents more than 20 % of turnover and is a profitable activity for the retailer. Sufficient reason to ask E-commerce Manager Karl Bosmans to talk about the topic, he will be joined by digital marketing agency Upthrust.
New location
The formula of the RetailDetail Night remains unchanged: three thematic supporting programmes in the afternoon, followed by a plenary session in the evening, including the presentation of the Brochure of the Year awards by BD myShopi, the retail year overview by Professor Gino Van Ossel, and keynotes by Albert Heijn and INNO. And last but not least, delicious nibbles, drinks and high-level networking.
The location, however, is new: the event will partly take place on the premises of RetailDetail and RetailHub, inside Antwerp’s Shopping Stadsfeestzaal, and partly at the nearby Horta venue. The number of spaces is thus limited: through this link you can find all the necessary information about the programme and book tickets. See you there?
