Jysk and Extra have opened a store in a renovated retail park in Froyennes (Tournai), which has also been given a wooden front and a new brand identity.
Ideal mix
Owner Redevco had started the renovation project already in 2019, but only now can Extra (moving from a different location in the same retail park) and Jysk (new in Froyennes) open their new stores. Extra’s new location measures 2,000 sqm, Jysk’s is 1,350 sqm. The new store units have been decorated with a brand new fir front.
“This summer, the renovation project should be complete and the retail park should feature an ideal mix of stores for food, sports products, furniture and electronic equipment”, Redevco’s Filip de Bois states. “This is one of our premium sites, and we will continue to invest in the site and its marketing.” For this reason, the retail park has been given its own brand identity and is now called ‘Shopping Froyennes’. The site features sixteen stores, including Carrefour, Decathlon, Krëfel and McDonald’s.
