TEDi‘s Belgian expansion plans have so far only resulted in only one store, but that is about to change. Early next year, the chain will move further west.
Progress
At the opening of its first Belgian store, in June, the German answer to Action announced half a dozen more stores to open this year. That proved prematurely, and Tongeren will remain Tedi’s only Belgian store to open this year. However, next year will see progress, with a store in East-Flanders (Oudenaarde), as well as a second store in Limburg (Bilzen).
TEDi is active in fifteen countries, operating some 3,000 stores, and is working on an expansion campaign throughout Europe. In France, the chain has planned a large number of store openings, as well as acquisitions.
