Expansion through franchise stores
The new store will occupy more than 600 sqm and offer the entire array of products, just like its other French stores. Valenciennes is Tom&Co’s third French stores, following openings in Douai and Bruay-la-Buissière.
The chain seeks further French expansion in the near future, as its very first French franchise store will open in May, with several others to follow further along in 2014.
Tom&Co, part of the Delhaize Group, was founded in 1991 and already has 137 stores in Belgium, where it is the market leader in animal care, and another 129 in Luxembourg.
