German animal web shop Zooplus saw its third quarter turnover grow by 22 % to 277 million euro, continuing the solid growth from its first quarters.

“The sales development in the third quarter of 2017, where we had a significant increase versus the second quarter of 2017, is confirmation that our chosen approach to focus on accelerating sales growth is the right one”, CEO Cornelius Patt said.
Based on the current results, Zooplus still forecasts a 1.125 billion euro full-year turnover. That would be a sizeable increase compared to 2016, when it reached 909 million euro, which already was a 28 % growth compared to 2015. The web shop even intends to surpass the two billion euro turnover milestone by 2020.
