Interior design store chain CASA continues the rollout of its “click & collect” web shops. It already implemented this new formula in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, but will now tackle Switzerland, Spain and Portugal.
Remodeled web shops in six countries
Starting today, CASA has a new web shop in six of the eight countries in which it operates. Customers can place online orders and pick these up in a store of their choosing. The chain implemented this new pick-up formula in the spring of 2017 in Belgium, Luxembourg and France. Next up are Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.
These new web shops are part of CASA’s Casa 20.20 strategy. The company not only wants to create an accessible eCommerce platform, but also a remodeled store formula and product range. In April 2017, it moved into a new distribution center in Olen, which will act as the central location for 520 European stores. Fifty employees did lose their job when the company moved its distribution to Olen.
The new distribution center will become fully operational at the end of 2017. The click & collect web shops should also help CASA generate online growth.
