Belgian kitchen chain Eggo has opened a new showroom in Drogenbos, near Brussels. It is already the sixth store in the Brussels region for the interior specialist, who has ambitions to become the market leader in the region.
Physical proximity remains important
“We are constantly looking for how to further strengthen our presence. This 56th showroom in Belgium, on the border of Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region, underlines that we want to remain a pioneer”, CEO Frédéric Taminiaux explained.
“The proximity of a physical shop remains important. After all, most consumers also want to take a closer look at their kitchen or interior, feel the materials and explore the possibilities”, Taminiaux elaborates. The location on an important road is also “strategic”, as it is easily accessible by car from different directions, the CEO points out.
The shop measures 650 sqm and exhibits both kitchens and storage solutions, along with nine set-ups of a bathroom, dining room and TV furniture. A technical kitchen has also been set up, covering various options and solutions. Eggo today has eighty outlets in five countries, including Luxembourg and Spain.
