La Redoute has appointed Béatrice Héricourt as its new CEO. She succeeds Fabien Versavau, whose tenure ended after only three months due to “strategic differences”.
Next phase
Héricourt began her career in 1997 as an audit manager at Arthur Andersen, moving to fashion chain Pimkie two years later. In 2008,she started a three-year stint at Tape à l’Œil, before joining Kiabi. She became Kiabi CEO in 2019 and was appointed to the same position at electronics discounter Electro Dépôt in 2023, a position she held until January 2025.
The Galeries Lafayette subsidiary stated Héricourt brings “the right mix of retail experience and transformational power” to lead La Redoute into the next phase, Republik Retail reports. La Redoute is seen as a digital growth engine within the group, which acquired La Redoute partly in 2017 and fully in 2022. The group is aiming for further international growth and online development.
