Almost 60 % of French interior design brand Roche Bobois’ turnover comes from its more than 160 stores abroad. Nevertheless, its French home territory is still the largest.
More than 10 store openings in 2016
In 2015, Roche Bobois managed a turnover of 437 million euro, with 58 % (254 million euro) coming from sales abroad. The group has 250 stores worldwide, with 163 abroad.
Despite its decent turnover abroad, France remains its largest market with an 183 million euro turnover and an 1.8 % like-for-like turnover growth. North America is its second largest market with 38 Roche Bobois stores and it wants to add another 3 to 4 this year.
The brand already opened 20 stores across the world last year, which resulted in a 13 % turnover increase abroad and an 11 % like-for-like turnover growth. It intends to add another 12 stores this year, including a first store in Korea, Iran and Ukraine.
