A double-digit increase in sales led Lego to a new record in 2024: the Danish toy giant easily outperformed the struggling toy market and thus saw its market share increase significantly. The next step for the company is investing in international capacity and digital innovation.
Software-engineers triple
Lego’s sales increased 13 % to a record of 74.3 billion Danish kroner (just under ten billion euros), while its operating profit rose 10 % to 18.7 billion Danish kroner (2.5 billion euros). This increase in profits was despite an increase in strategic expenditure, especially in the areas of technology and sustainability. Net profit grew by 5 % to 13.8 billion Danish kroner (1.8 billion euros).
