Turnover for entrepreneur
Albert Heijn customers can ask to pick up their online orders at the store of entrepreneur William de Block in Maasland. The novelty will be that the items in the online orders will come from the store itself.
The chain will not ask for a minimum order, but will charge an additional 1 – 3.5 euro for orders below 70 euro. Customers can pick up their order the very next day, after 16h.
The biggest beneficiaries are the franchisees, as this will help them generate turnover instead of losing turnover to the parent company. That particular issue has been a thorn in the entrepreneurs’s side for quite a while as they feared that orders on AH.nl basically meant they had lost turnover.
