Amazon Fire is the online retailer’s response to Apple TV, which will allow customers to use selected services like Netflix,YouTube and Amazon Prime. The latter allows movies and series to be streamed to your television, but Fire TV will also enable games. It is not considered to be a competitor for the current consoles, but could be considered an alternative.
Amazon says Fire TV works three times faster than any competitor, with a price comparison tool incorporated into the device. That should allow consumers to see where you would pay less for a certain movie or series.
Fire TV is worth 99 dollars in the United States (some 70 euro) and the device is currently only available in the United States, with no option to send it to Europe, but that might change in the near future.
