Ao.com, Appliances Online in full, is a British pure player with a 384.9 million pound (485 million euro) turnover last fiscal year, 40 % higher than the year before that. Its EBITDA was 11.2 million pounds (14.12 million euro), 11 % higher than the year before.
To continue its growth, it now aims to move to the European mainland, with Germany as its first stop. Its Germany website, called Ao.de, is already operational, but no orders can be placed at this point. The British Ao.com guarantees same day delivery and a lowest price guarantee while AO World also carries out fulfillment for third parties.
