Only for pick-up orders
The European expansion comes one week after all American customers were given the option to order coffee on their mobile phones. Starbucks already launched the service in December 2014, but only did that in several cities.
Its London customers can only order online and then pick it up in a Starbucks, while its American stores have deals in place with courier services in order to get orders delivered within the hour.
Starbucks also has huge growth plans alongside the expansion of its mobile options: it wants to add 8,000 new stores by 2020, leading to 30,000 stores in total.
