8 years at Coolblue
Werner Bruyns had been Coolblue Belgium’s CEO since 2007 and was partly responsible for the Belgian rise of the Dutch online retailer. Sources have told Retaildetail that he has now left the company, but that news has not been confirmed so far.
Werner Bruyns was in charge of Coolblue Belgium’s two physical stores, one in Lochristi and one in Antwerp while he also wanted to open new stores in Louvain and Hasselt. Several weeks ago, Coolblue released its 2014 numbers, which had shown that its turnover has grown 45 % to 360 million euro.
