American growth
The number of subscribers grew 429 % in the first part of 2015, to 402,000, which means it now delivers 18.2 million meals – in itself also an increase of 355 %. Net turnover grew 408 % to 112.5 million euro and the company expects similar growth in the next two years thanks to its American expansion. Achieving additional growth in the United States will be one of the company’s focal points for the future.
HelloFresh also launched an iPhone app in June, which should help the company gain valuable data on the favourite recipes per country, as non-subscribers too can now view recipes and recreate them at home.
