Nearly 7 million users
The British company, founded in 2001, says it has grown thanks to investments in marketing, technology and new products. It has also noted an increasing number of consumers have no issue ordering food online or through mobile appliances.
“We enter 2015 with confidence and we will continue to invest to give consumers more reasons to order their takeaway favourites through Just Eat’s online and mobile platforms”, Just Eat CEO David Buttress said.
Analysts expect the company to announce a 53.8 % turnover growth to 148.9 million pounds (192.4 million euro), although full-year numbers will not be disclosed until 17 March 2015.
Just Eat currently boasts nearly 7 million users for its free service. It does charge restaurants to feature on its website and a 10 % fee on any orders placed.
