Number of dissatisfied customers
The 299 dollar charge not only contains the AmazonFresh service, but also all other extra’s from the Amazon Prime subscription, which stands at 99 dollars per year. A grocery list above 50 dollars will be delivered at the customer’s doorstep for free and if the order is below that amount, delivery fees will be added.
Amazon had been thinking about an AmazonFresh subscription fee for a while and now hopes this subscription fee will turn the service into a profitable one. Over the past few years, the service was expanded into several new cities, but there had not been a subscription fee, until now.
