Clothing chain Oysho, which is part of the Spanish fashion group Inditex, has now opened a European web shop. This means that all European citizens can buy the brand’s clothing, even though the particular country may not have an actual store.
Phased launch
Oysho is currently physically present in 16 countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, China and Mexico. Thanks to its European web shop, it has now added another 16 countries to the list.
It will not launch the web shop in all territories at the same time, but only gradually. Romania, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland are up first in February, while Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland have to wait until March. The last few remaining countries, including Latvia and Lithuania, will be added in April.
Oysho’s online visual style has also been changed on the back of the European web shop launch. More imagery is now used, which should give customers a more intuitive and dynamic customer experience.
