Outlet is an interesting choice for Showroomprivé, because the site purchases items straight from manufacturers. It is obvious however that any campaign may create a leftover stock of unsold items. After its previous shop went up in flames in 2011, the company tried selling these items using a network of external outlet shops all over Europe.
Online retailers increasingly open physical shops to serve as extra service points or to attract customers that are afraid of online shopping, as Groupon recently did in Singapore.
