Pay to implement Buy Now button
Twitter has stated it is merely testing out the functionality for the first time, but it hopes to give its customers access to offers they won’t find anywhere else soon.
If users click on the “Buy” button in a message, they will get additional information about that product and enter payment information. Once that has been done, the retailer gets the information. In short, customers will not have to leave Twitter to complete their order.
Companies that want to use the Buy option in their tweets will have to pay to add the button. There are few things that remain unclear, namely when the service will be available for everyone and how much companies will have to pay to use it.
