A German store next year
Until now, only British customers were able to buy Uniqlo items on
a web shop belonging to the Japanese company. From now it will also be delivering to German, Spanish, Italian,
Irish and French customers, but payments can only be done in British pounds and
delivery costs are 7.50 pounds (8.4 euro), regardless of the size of the order. Delivery
is guaranteed within 6 days.
In Western Europe, Uniqlo only has offline stores in Great
Britain (10 stores) and France (4 stores).
It will opening a fifth store in France next year, in the Parisian
neighbourhood called Marais. Its very first German store will arrive early next
year in Berlin and apparently plans for Spain (Barcelona) and Italy (Milan) are
underway, with Uniqlo scouting for ideal locations.
