Strengthen the community
Yahoo’s digital magazines will now be enriched with links to Polyvore products, in an attempt to strengthen its own community. “The combination of Yahoo’s industry-leading digital content with Polyvore’s expertise in community and commerce has outstanding potential,” said Simon Khalaf, Yahoo’s SVP of Publisher Products.
Polyvore will continue to work like it did before the acquisition, but now backed by Yahoo’s investments. The company’s CEO and co-founder, Jess Lee, will now report directly to Yahoo’s Simon Khalaf.
