New CEO?
The number of unique visitors grew 53 % in September, with October and
November seeing a drop to just below 40 %. December
was the lowest point, with an increase of ‘merely’ 26.4 %, especially as that
month is a huge month for online retailers. That is why a drop at that point is
alarming, to say the least.
Reuters also divulged that Cristina
Stenbeck will become Zalando’s new CEO. Right now, she is still Swedish
investment fund Kinnevik’s CEO, a fund that has 37 % of Zalando’s shares. Neither
Zalando nor Kinnevik were available for a comment.
